Avión Tequila – Popular Choice of the Recent Tequila Trend

Avion Tequila
Avión Tequila

What ever happened to vodka.  It seems that its preference as a popular cocktail ingredient has waned.

Why is that? Many skilled mixologists have bypassed vodka due to its lack of flavor.

Filling the void is tequila and 100% agave tequilas are becoming more chic than ever.

What is an interesting tidbit is that The Tasting Kitchen in Venice Beach, CA (well known for its inventive drinks) makes fun of vodka, by calling it “the tofu of the cocktail world” in its menu. Ouch!

With that said, tequilas are increasingly becoming the popular choice in diverse and creative cocktail menus at top mixology bars.

Several tequila brands such as Avión Tequila, Casa Noble and Casa Dragones are chosen by mixologists’ due to using 100% Blue Weber Agave of the highest quality and artisanal distilling practices.

But there seems to be clear leader, as Avión has by far become the hit of the recent tequila trend.

In addition to its great tasting flavor, Avión even hand-signs every single bottle of the Silver, Reposado and Añejo varietals.

Avión Tequila has also become a popular choice of celebrities, including Justin Timberlake, who has his own brand, 901. When Colin Firth received his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, he was spotted drinking an Avión cocktail after.

In addition, Avión iTequila is showing up at the most exclusive celebrity hangouts, including NYC’s Beauty and Essex.
