Bellagio Water Fountains in Las Vegas – Musical Elegance

The Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas is one of the most luxurious hotels that exists in the city. If you can’t afford to stay there, you can always watch their beautiful music fountain shows that are displayed on an eight acre lake that is located in front of the hotel.

This video shows some of the music show and after watching it, it becomes quite clear that this is one of the many reasons why Las Vegas should be the next vacation trip you plan.

Beginning this spring, Bellagio’s Conservatory & Botanical Gardens continues to feature a spectacular floral exhibition filled with vivid blooms and a magnificent one-of-a-kind series of large-scale bronze sculptural ants.

Inspired by the social nature of these industrious creatures, American artist Susan P. Cochran created a seven-member colony that represents the ideals of cooperation and teamwork.

You can enjoy four enchanting gardens that were created by Bellagio’s very talented horticulture staff. The staff provides a lush landscape for these intricately detailed creatures.

Resting below two towering yellow jonquils, a queen ant will allow guests to climb onto her back for a unique photo opportunity. The stunning 8,500-pound queen will provide an ideal vantage point for viewing an exhibit of botanical snails and bumblebees as well as brightly colored tulips, poppies, daisies, mums and daffodils.

Just a few steps away, there are three 10-foot-long ants attentively preparing for the even warmer months ahead at the mouth of a 15-foot-tall flower pot, overflowing with rainbow-hued blooms. A beautiful spring butterfly will rest atop the over-sized pot while a towering 28-foot spade will stand nearby.

Overhead, bumble bees made of preserved sunflowers pause mid-flight in their tireless search for nectar.

Nearby is another first for Bellagio’s Conservatory – five giant mushrooms, ranging in size from 5 to 15 feet tall. These mushrooms will provide a natural canopy for the pair of 6-feet-tall ants found communicating below.

A jardin à la française, or French garden, will complete this fantasy botanical wonderland. Within its fragrant symmetrical borders, a large anthill will be flanked by two water spheres.

A 3-foot-long ant will be seen crawling into the golden sunlight from its earthen tunnel as its industrious counterpart works nearby.

Throughout this mesmerizing exhibit, botany fans will delight to find a rare exhibition of 10 potted olive trees, each more than 100 years old. Over the years, these ancient trees have been carefully sculptured into oversized bonsai presentations.

Magnificent Bellagio Hotel and Casino Resort

Bellagio
Bellagio Hotel and Casino Resort

Bellagio is one of the most dramatic and awe-inspiring resorts in all of Las Vegas.

Located on the heart of the famous Las Vegas Strip, the Bellagio luxury hotel includes 3,933 Guest Rooms and Suites. The Bellagio is a AAA Five Diamond award winning hotel and casino resort that first opened on October 15, 1998.

The magnificent Bellagio features an incredible eight-acre lake that is located between the hotel and The Strip. The design of the Bellagio was inspired by the Lake Como resort in Bellagio in Italy.

The Bellagio was built by Las Vegas casino magnate Steve Wynn and sold later on to MGM Mirage. The land the Bellagio was built on was originally the home of the Dunes hotel, on the corner of Las Vegas Blvd. and Flamingo Dr.

When you first walk into the Bellagio, guests will immediately notice the beautiful display of 2000 colorful, glass hand-blown flowers that cover the vaulted ceiling of the lobby. The sight is definitely one to behold.

If there is one must-see show in Las Vegas, it would be “O”, by Cirque Du Solei. The entertaining show performs twice a night (7:30 p.m. and 10:00 p.m.) from Wednesday through Sunday.

“O” translates to “water” in Italian. The Bellagio show centers around an incredible 1.5 million gallon water tank and includes an international cast of about 85 world-class acrobats, synchronized swimmers, divers and characters. They gracefully perform both in the water and above it.

Anybody who walks along the Las Vegas Strip can’t resist stopping to watch the famous Fountains of Bellagio water show. The Fountains of Bellagio is a display of water fountains and cannons choreographed to various pieces of modern and traditional music.

Back inside, the Bellagio Gallery of Fine Art features art from several of the most prominent artists of all time (e.g. Van Gogh, Picasso, and Monet). The masterful exhibit is a must for art lovers.

Two other popular amenities are the Conservatory and Botanical Garden. The Conservatory is an enormous, climate-controlled glass dome that showcases various exhibits throughout the year. The garden is a sanctuary to more than 7,500 flowers, and maintained by an army of talented horticulturists. The garden is an amazing and colorful display of flowers, bridges, water fountains, ponds, and gazebos.

The Bellagio also offers gamblers a world-class casino to try your Lady Luck. The casino includes a wide variety of games and betting limits.

Other amenities to enjoy include: luxury shopping at Via Bellagio and Via Fiore, more than 20 fine dining restaurants such as Jasmine, Circo, Le Cirque, Michael Mina, Picasso and the Prime Steakhouse.

Guests can also treat themselves to a world class spa, a spectacular pool, and popular nightclubs like The Bank, Caramel and Fontana Bar.

Via Bellagio – Bellagio Las Vegas

Via Bellagio at the Bellagio Las Vegas is one of the most elite shopping streets in the city.

Here, high-end retailers, such as Hermes, Tiffany and Co., Chanel, Dior, Yves St. Laurent, and Giorgio Armani compete for shoppers’ attention.

Via Bellagio, the shopping arcade at the Bellagio hotel-casino, is luxury at its finest. To call it expensive would be an understatement — you could plunk down a year’s salary in less than an hour, no matter what you make. But if you’re looking to do some high-end shopping (or just observe it), the Bellagio is the place to go.

Tiffany & Co. also features the designs of Elsa Peretti, with fashionable pens that cost no more than their equivalent elsewhere (unless purchased in 18-carat gold), sterling silver baby accessories, frames and paperweights. Designer Paloma Picasso’s jewelry also is featured.

Hermes is the perfect stop if you’re looking for finely made silk scarves, ties and suits. Chanel has a great handbag collection. Moschino, Giorgio Armani and Prada will keep your wardrobe up-to-date with the latest styles from the runway.

The shops are on the second level, at the entrance — a refreshing change for those used to hotel shops stuck in the back of the building. Definitely worth a stop — if for nothing else than the time-honored tradition of window-shopping!
