The “Cosmic X” buzz in the Big Apple air is electric. Iconic artist Jack Armstrong has taken over Times Square in New York City with a stunning, electronic “visual art” campaign.  The Tony Lama, Cosmic Cowboy Boots were featured on the Ripley’s Museum (Giant Digital Screen) In Times Square for 2 years, from 2018-2020.

Armstrong feels that world famous Time Square in New York City, is the perfect city ‘museum’ to exhibit his “Cosmic X” art.  NYC is well known for graffiti painting on the street, in addition to the giant, digital screens and billboards in Times Square.  What an ideal canvas for Jack Armstrong to share his contemporary art with the world!

In total, there are 13 different Armstrong art videos running on the big screen above Ripley’s Times Square Museum.  The Cosmic X videos will appear and rotate every 15 minutes, 24 hours a day.  Each 30 second video showcases the tremendous talent of international artist Jack Armstrong, including his Cosmic Starship Harley motorcycle, Cosmic Bicycle and Cosmic Cowboy Boots.  This iconic 2 year “Digital Art Exhibition” ran from 2018 to 2020.

Early in Jack’s art career, he became friends and collaborated with three legends of the art world – Andy Warhol, Jean-Michel Basquiat and Keith Haring. The bond they enjoyed together lasts to this day. In fact, take a look at the below video feature both Jack and Jean-Michel Basquiat.

One of the proudest moments in Jack Armstrong’s life was when Andy Warhol named him “THE LAST WIZARD” of art. The label has now become the title of the upcoming movie about Jack’s life.

Jack was quoted, “To be in Times Square with my Cosmic ‘X’ (Digital Art Retrospective) for a 2 year period is a great honor.  I began graffiti painting with Jean Michel Basquiat in 1979 and we both dreamed of having our art seen high up on the huge digital screens that lit up the night.”

For those looking for a stunning lady’s luxury watch, consider the two new Lady 8 Flower watch models from Jaquet Droz. Each of the two new models is a limited edition of 8 pieces.

The automaton of this stunning watch is positioned at the top of the Lady 8 Flower. It is animated by a pusher at 2 o’clock. When the pusher is pressed, it activates a lotus flower. The incredible gold petals slowly open to reveal either a diamond or a sapphire.

The watch’s precious stone is also animated. It swivels in the opposite direction when the Lotus opens and closes. The result is it beautifully displays every facet of the glittering briolette cut.

In this watch collection, you will notice the figure 8. Like others from Jaquet Droz, the figure 8 is a symbol of perfection and harmony. It is formed when the watch dial is overlaid with the dial of the automaton.

Owning a vintage sports car is often a dream for many people. Whether buying a classic car for your own private collection or just because …. it’s a great hobby to have. We came across this incredible 2007 Noble M400 sports car from British car maker Noble Automotive Ltd.

Noble is a low-production British sports car company. Noble Automotive Ltd. first opened its doors in 1999 in Leicester England. The company’s founder is Lee Noble. He simply wanted to produce a more affordable, rear engine and rear-wheel drive sports car.

It has developed several, exciting sports car models including the M12 GTO, M12 GTO-3, M12 GTO-3R and of course the Noble M400. The Noble M400 and M12 GTO-3R share both the same car body and chassis. In addition, you will notice a few small differences in their engine plus suspension.

This 2017 Noble M400 has a factory VIN NUS0185 (PA issued Vin number 5W123124PA, on title). The car was purchased by the current owner new on 12/4/2006 from 1G racing in Ross, Ohio. This stunning car features a black interior and has a gorgeous, Titanium metallic paint finish.

Weighing in at only 2,320 pounds, the M400 produces 425 HP, so is capable of a 0-60 mph time in just 3.2 seconds. While it may not have the same cachet of similar cars in its class, the Noble M400 certainly proves itself. The sports car has pavement-pounding performance and standout aesthetics.

With only 75 cars produced, the Noble M400 provides an amazing driving experience for the money. But it is also quite rare. Sadly, it is not a well known car brand. You may have to answer numerous questions such as “What kind of car is that?“. But you will definitely be the star of any car or other social event. Or just simply be your own hero on spirited back road drives!

2007 Noble M400

Chassis number NUS0185 is a one-owner example with only 3,300 miles. Owned by an avid collector/enthusiast, this M400 has always been meticulously taken care. Plus it has been regularly maintained despite its low use. With a flawless history, the car is in “like new” condition. Whiskey Charlie – Canopy by Hilton at the Wharf, D.C.

An expansive terrace with panoramic views over the Potomac River and historic skyline of Washington, D.C., Whiskey Charlie offers a premium destination rooftop cocktail bar and lounge. It sits atop the recently opened Canopy by Hilton at the Wharf D.C. Ten floors up, the 2,200-square-foot space, designed by interior design firm Krause Sawyer. This luxury space features an outdoor roof terrace with seating coves, fire pits and large planters.

The glass-enclosed interior lounge boasts reclaimed wood, porcelain and metallic tiles to create an intimate bar with panoramic views from Rosslyn to National Harbor. Given its location and Krause Sawyer’s modern design, Whiskey Charlie is the perfect meeting place. Therefore  enjoy all that the newly developed Wharf district has to offer.

New York-based luxury hospitality design firm Krause Sawyer unveiled its latest project. The conceptualizing is the first ever North American Canopy by Hilton, Hilton’s (NYSE: HLT) lifestyle hotel brand, from the ground up, in Washington, D.C. this past fall. A sparkling new multi-use riverside development encompassing hotels, retail, restaurants, and leisure activities.

In addition to its crowning rooftop lounge, the 175-room Canopy by Hilton features stunning multi-use public spaces. In addition, the Canopy Central café and bar, Transfer Lounge, guest Retreat with an outdoor garden, guestrooms and suites. Even the expansive corridors embody Krause Sawyer’s signature natural luxury design sensibility.

Heywood Hotel – Austin, Texas

With barbeque smoke and the hoppy aroma of locally brewed beer in the air, the second-floor courtyard terrace of the Heywood Hotel feels like your own personal neighborhood hangout. All with a chic twist. It is no surprise being tucked in a picturesque East Austin neighborhood. This 1920’s bungalow turned boutique hotel exudes southern comfort from the outside in.

Also, the property is home to seven “lucky” suites throughout 3,200 square feet.

The Heywood Hotel is housed in a 1925 craftsman bungalow in the diverse East Austin neighborhood. The team’s dedication to handcrafted hospitality offers visitors a hyper-local, authentic experience accented with a “scale of one” mentality. They strive to anticipate guests’ every need so that each patron feels as if they’re staying amongst friends.

El Palauet Living Barcelona – Barcelona, Spain

Situated atop the 1906 masterpiece by Pere Falqués, El Palauet’s rooftop terrace offers the utmost privacy. There you can lounge beneath an open greenhouse frame entangled by climbing vines, and flanked by lush palms and cacti.

These separate you from the sun-soaked expanse of Catalonian rooftops. Featuring a wooden Finnish sauna, massage tables, treatment rooms, a solarium for taking in the soothing Spanish sun. Try an outdoor salt-water Jacuzzi replete with hydro-massage beds. Guests of the hotel can enjoy the utmost peace and tranquility atop this “Little Palace” (Catalan translation for “El Palauet”).

El Palauet Living is a luxury boutique hotel situated along the sprawling Passeig de Gracia. Located amidst the Modernisme (the sumptuous Catalan version of Art Nouveau) architecture of Barcelona’s Gracia neighborhood. Opened in 2011 by a native Catalan family, El Palauet (or “Little Palace” in Catalan) was designed and built in 1906 by renowned architect Pere Falqués. He also designed the ornate benches and streetlights that line the 42m wide Boulevard.

The all-suite hotel features six large 1600 square foot apartment suites. Offering the comfort, feeling, and familiarity of home with highly personalized guest services and on-call personal assistants. Rooms start at 499Euro / $560 USD per night during the low season (August, November – March) and up to 2900Euro / $3,300 per night in the high season (April – October).

Heesen Yachts just announced they have delivered their new 50 metre steel class luxury yacht: Omaha. At 50 metres, Omaha has a Gross Tonnage just below the 500GT threshold. As a result, this displacement motor yacht is the first yacht in Heesen Yachts’ new 50-metre Steel Class which is the successor of our 47m Steel Class.

After extensive sea trials, the luxury yacht has been proudly delivered to their owners. The trials were conducted in the North Sea. The weather was ideally favorable. Therefore the seas ranged from calm to moderate.

Christined Omaha, the interior of the new YN 18350 yacht from Heesen Yachts was styled by Reymond Langton. The exterior by Clifford Denn Design. With a 50m displacement, Omaha has a range at 12 knots of 3,800 nautical miles.

During her sea trials, Omaha did exceed the contractual speed, reaching 16 knots. This positive result proved to be extremely maneuverable in all conditions. This fact is due to her large rudders, in combination with the power steering unit. Omaha is powered by two MTU 8V4000 M63 engines. She has a range of 3,800 nautical miles at a cruising speed of 12 knots.

YN 18350 is the first in Heesen Yacht’s newly designed 50 metre Steel Class. As previously mentioned, the exterior lines of this luxury yacht are by Clifford Denn. The company spliced the Heesen DNA with lines inspired by classic car design. It creates a true blue-water yacht, with a bold presence on the water. The end result is spectacular, to say the least.

The yacht’s guests will experience VIP comfort, due to its round bilge steel hull with bulbous bow. Plus they will enjoy exceptional sea keeping and unparalleled performance. Soon, Omaha by Heesen Yachts will leave The Netherlands. She begins her maiden voyage to the Mediterranean Sea. Once there, her new owners will finally take ownership firsthand.

Design studio Reymond Langton created a luxurious but welcoming interior. The yacht offers accommodations for up to ten guests. There are a totla of five cabins. The Owner’s stateroom can be found on the main deck forward. Lastly, the four large guest suites are located on the lower deck.

YN 18850 Project Triton is the sister ship to Omaha. She is currently under construction at the Heesen shipyard in Oss, The Netherlands. When completed, the new yacht will be available for delivery in February 2020.
