Marilyn Monroe’s Beverly Hills – A Celebration of the Beloved Actress’ Centennial
From The Beverly Hills Hotel and its iconic Bungalows to the Polo Lounge, The Beverly Hilton, and Avalon Hotel Beverly Hills, Marilyn Monroe truly made the City her home. On June 1, 2026 the world will celebrate what would have been the 100th birthday of Marilyn Monroe. Beverly Hills is where her story lives on.
As the setting for some of her most iconic moments, Beverly Hills invites visitors to step into the amazing world of Marilyn Monrow, both on and off camera. From her years residing at the Avalon Hotel Beverly Hills (formerly the Beverly Carlton), to evenings at rumored favorite La Scala. In addition, at the famous The Beverly Hilton. It’s where she made her final public appearance and honored with the Henrietta Award at the 1962 Golden Globes.
At the heart of the experience is The Beverly Hills Hotel, Marilyn’s longtime sanctuary. Staying in Bungalows 1 and 7, Marilyn dined regularly at Table 6 at the Polo Lounge and lounged poolside under the sunshine. She returned here throughout her career, even filming of Let’s Make Love on-site with Yves Montand.

With Bungalow 1 having since been redesigned after the icon, incorporating whimsical nods to her life and most celebrated roles. For the month of June, the hotel is honoring Marilyn with a series of irresistible experiences:
– “Soufflés are a Girl’s Best Friend” – a playful reimagining of her favorite hot fudge sundae as a Maraschino-Vanilla soufflé with hot fudge and whipped cream. Served at dinner in the Polo Lounge.
– “Marilyn Mimosa” – available at the Polo Lounge and the Cabana Cafe. This sparkling tribute is made with Piper-Heidsieck Cuvée Brut (her champagne of choice), Grand Marnier, fresh orange juice, and brandied cherries.
From past to present, visitors can experience the City’s timeless glamour. As Marilyn Monrow did while sipping her signature champagne order, dining where she once held court and checking into the legendary hotels she once called home.
