Baselworld 2010 will mark the 275th Anniversary for Blancpain. The company is using this occasion to debut a new Villeret Collection.

Blancpain will unveil the first timepiece from this new series – a new complete calendar moon-phase model.

The new watch will feature a fully secure calendar mechanism with its patented under-lug correctors. This design allows the timepiece sides with a remarkably pure finish, thus unmarred by the presence of adjusters.

Villeret Collection bears the name of Blancpain’s birthplace, and the company has a long history of quality luxury watches.

The advantage of the under-lug correctors.is that required changes can now be accomplished with your finger tips rather than needing a dedicated tool.

For the first model of the new Villeret Collection, Blancpain has opted for a luxurious, 40 mm half-hunter red gold case. It will also be decorated with an opaline dial.

The new Blancpain Villeret Collection features stylish aesthetics and complications that have been the foundation of Blancpain’s core since the early 1980’s.

The complete calendar moon-phase, offering both understatement and elegance, has always been the signature complication for the Villeret Collection.

Blancpain’s exclusive in-house automatic calibre is fitted with a balance that oscillates at 28,800 vibrations per hour. The watch also comes with an antimagnetic index assembly, plus two barrels guaranteeing it a 72-hour power reserve.

The new Villeret model is almost as complex as a full perpetual calendar, and features a revolutionary method for adjusting the indications without fear of movement damage, regardless of the time of day.

To facilitate setting of the indications, Blancpain has equipped the new Villeret timepiece with its patented under-lug correctors.

The amazing Festival of Crafts is scheduled to begin on the west coast at the Bravern in Bellevue, Washington state on February 23 through February 28.

The Festival of Crafts is an exhibition that highlights the incredible art of craft, in addition to its importance in the contemporary world.

Attendees of the Festival of Crafts will have the unique chance to meet the Hermès’ craftsmen and artisans, plus learn a specific technique of his or her highly-skilled trade (see list below) in an interactive environment.

The initial goal of the Festival of Crafts was to create an exhibition to highlight the art of craft, and it allows Hermès to share its history, through the knowledge and passion of its craftsmen and craftswomen.

Last night, Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show was aired on CBS. The show was actually recorded on the 10th of November.

It was an incredible show with the usual array of beautiful women and amazing catwalk costumes.

This year’s Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show was opened by pop sensation Katy Perry, who sang her latest hit, “Firework.” Katy looked stunning wearing two colorful outfits from top designer Todd Thomas.

The audience was filled with famous celebrities including, Paris and Nicky Hilton, Adrian Grenier, Blondie lead singer Debbie Harry, Tyson Beckford and Serena Williams.

R&B star Akon sang his latest hit, appropriately titled “Angel”. The beautiful Victoria’s Secret models strutted down the glittered runway in a themed section named “Heavenly Bodies.”

Longtime supermodel, Adriana Lima wore an elegant $2 million bra with over 3,000 sparkling Damiani diamonds and sapphires.

In addition to Adriana Lima, other popular models that were part of this year’s Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show were Karolina Kurkova, Chanel Iman, Alessandra Ambrosio, Candice Swanepoel, Erin Heatherton, Behati Prinsloo, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Lily Aldridge.

Victoria’s Secret ‘Angel’ is sexy Adriana Lima and 29 years old. Adriana opened the show wearing a huge set of wings. This show marks her first return to the famous catwalk, since giving birth to her daughter Valentina, about a year ago. Adriana Lima first performed in a Victoria’s Secret fashion show back in 1998, and officially became an “angel” in 2000.

Adriana drew raves for her stunning look in the 2008 Victoria’s Secret fashion Show wearing an incredible $5M bra.

The show continued with a variety of other creative themes including: the exotic “Wild Things,” the heavy metal look of “Tough Love,” flirtatious “Pink Planet,” sports inspired “Game On,” and the sexy country girl look “Country Girls.”

Later in the show Katy Perry returned and sang a medley of her most popular songs, which included “Teenage Dream,” “Hot N Cold” and “California Gurls.”
