In 2012, the original Bird Repeater luxury watch by Jaquet Droz made its first appearance.

The following year, watch making artistry continued with the introduction of The Charming Bird watch that recognized the luxury brand’s 275th anniversary milestone. This model not only showcased the bird in an ultra-modern decorative setting, but it also sang.

This year, Jaquet Droz has done it again with the stunning Bird Repeater Openwork. The new watch model is more streamlined with a contemporary look. The animated features that made its predecessors popular are still visible.

The Bird Repeater Openwork features two beautiful blue tit birds and their two babies. The color of the birds is stunning along with a flowing waterfall on the left and a hatching egg, centered between the baby birds.

The new luxury watch from Jaquet Droz features a sapphire crystal dial that displays an exposed automated movement. The result is it shows off the vibrant colors of the birds. The bold watch dial also features a black onyx subdial.

The Bird Repeater Openwork movement is the Swiss hand-wind Jaquet Droz in-house caliber RMA88 and comes with 69 jewels, 18,000 vph, in addition to a power reserve of 48 hours.

The watch case is 47 mm in size and constructed from beautiful 18k white gold. The lxuury watch also includes double sapphire crystals. It is not water resistant.

The new Bird Repeater watch is available in white gold on a black alligator leather strap.

The Bird Repeater Openwork watch by Jaquet Droz is a limited edition collection of only eight pieces. Each one of the watches is equipped with 508 components.
