The hotel is opened by George Hincapie, who competed in the world famous Tour de France cycling race 17 times, along with his brother Rich, and Peter Gilgan. Much of the hotel’s concept was envisioned from George’s time spend in Europe combined with Peter’s development acumen.

Each of the boutique hotel’s 13 guestrooms has been styled and appointed for luxury and comfort. Guests will find a wrought iron bed with 500 thread count linens, flat screen TV, iPad concierge, and French doors/windows that open to fresh air and the scenic views. Each room boasts a high ceiling and tasteful art, while many include patios and fireplaces.

Hotel Domestique bathrooms come with a rain showerhead and / or soaking tubs, Hermes toiletries and plush towels. Designed ina spa-like manner, the spacious bath area makes use of earth-toned materials including river rock, poured concrete and forest-colored tile.

Hotel Domestique is a haven for cyclists and will uniquely cater to two-wheel aficionados. The hotel property includes a small bike shop area with an on-site mechanic, specially designed bike storage room, BMC road and mountain bikes rentals, and mapped ride routes around the region.

The local area provides guests a wide abundance of outdoor activities including hiking, fishing, golf and horseback riding. Nearby you will find Caesars Head State Park, Mountain Bridge Wilderness Area, Table Rock State Park and many other nearby areas are a big draw for nature lovers.
