Sunset Fest Cabo: A Smooth Rock Escape in Cabo San Lucas

This fall, Cabo San Lucas will host Sunset Fest Cabo, the ultimate smooth rock festival celebrating yacht rock’s golden era. Set against the sun-drenched shores of Medano Beach from October 24 to 26, 2025, the festival invites nostalgics and music lovers alike to soak up legendary performances by Rick Springfield, Ambrosia (featuring Peter Beckett), Elliot Lurie, John Ford Coley, Pablo Cruise, Alan Parsons, Christopher Cross, Al Stewart & The Empty Pockets, Kenny Loggins, and Dire Straits Legacy, among others. The three-day journey begins each evening at 5:00 PM, after gates open at 3:30 PM.

When the final chords fade, the celebration continues at ME Cabo’s pool deck and Corazón Rooftop 360, where live music, DJs, culinary pop-ups, tequila lounges, and bottle service await. The festival also offers immersive culinary experiences, including tasting stations, curated drink lounges, and ocean-fresh seafood events.

Sunset Fest Cabo attendees can expect live performances from some of the greatest artists of the genre, immersive experiences from Michelin-starred chefs, pop-up seafood tastings fresh from the ocean, curated tequila lounges, poolside after-parties with live bands, and an exclusive Admiral’s Package VIP yacht experience.
