4) Christmas Markets:
The Montreux Noel is the most famous Christmas Market in Switzerland. This year, the event celebrates its 21st anniversary. You will find greater than 150 craftspeople who decorate their colorful chalets all along the shores of Lake Geneva during winter. It’s a popular event and the area attracts around 500,000 visitors. The Christmans market is open now until December 24, 2015.

7) Château‐d’Oex: The International Hot‐Air Balloon Festival:
The amazing village of Château-d’Oex will again be the host of the 38th annual Festival International de Ballons. This festival runs between January 23 and 31, 2015. Château-d’Oex is surrounded by mountains and nice weather. Attendees can expect to see greater than balloons from 20 countries. Look up tot he sky and enjoy the show!
