
Leeann Tweeden’s career was launched when she won the Venus International Model Search contest in October, 1992 at the age of 19. At 20, she moved to Los Angeles to further her career as a model and actress.
She appeared in the August 1996 issue of Playboy magazine and in a couple of Hooters calendars, plus modeled lingerie for both Playboy and Frederick’s of Hollywood. She has also been a regular on ESPN’s “Fitness Beach”, and Fox Sports Network’s “Bluetorch TV” and “High Octane”.
On her fame as celebrity, “If it weren’t for those men and women, there’s no way I’d be on TV or be able to do FHM,” Leeann says. “I’d probably be covered in a burka—and what a waste that would be.”
Leeann’s main occupation during the past year has been cohosting the Speed Channel’s NASCAR Nation, where she delivers news and info on the increasingly popular world of stock car racing
“There no longer is a straight career path in the entertainment business. Actors want to be singers, singers want to be actors – and they all want to be race car drivers.”
LeeAnn is an active supporter of the US military and a member of the USO visiting our troops all over the country.
