For Adventurers, Try the New Zip-Line at YOTEL New York in Times Square
YOTEL New York has long been described as “the most radical hotel in the world.” Well that label has just been confirmed once again, as the popular New York City hotel just announced plans to introduce the first ever zip-line into Times Square.
YOTEL is located just a couple of blocks west of Times Square on 10th Avenue and West 42nd Street. This unique hotel offers its guests 669 stylish cabins. ‘Premium’ cabins are equipped with convertible beds for saving space, monsoon showers, technowall with TV and MP3/iPOD connectivity, workstation and free super strength WiFi.
So why walk when you can zip-line? In an effort to help hotel guests save time and avoid the busy streets of New York City, YOTEL will offer this complimentary and unbelievable one-of-a-kind experience.
For those adventurers who want a thrill and take the challenge, first you take a separate elevator up 27 floors to the roof of the YOTEL New York. The zip-line is composed of steel cables and platforms that have been strung to the hotel and nearby buildings. The new YOTEL zip-line will allow hotel guests to see New York’s most iconic sites from a unique, birds-eye view.
Don’t worry, the hotel won’t leave you hanging. Zip-line experts are available to assist guests through the entire process to ensure the utmost safety and enjoyment.
Claes Landberg, General Manager at YOTEL New York was quoted, “We’re excited to continue to fulfill our reputation as the most radical hotel in the world with the new Times Square Zip Line. We wanted to give our guests an unforgettable way to literally ‘drop into’ Times Square. We will definitely consider making a zip line a feature of future YOTEL properties as they open.
