Fine Dining at Bobby Van’s Steakhouse in New York City
Each night in New York City, popular Bobby Van’s Steakhouse fills up with a variety of celebrities, sports athletes, Wall Street tycoons, as well as New York politicians. This fine dining restaurant is located on 40 Central Park South, near the world famous Plaza Hotel.
Bobby Van’s opened its first steakhouse in Bridgehampton, NY, 48 years ago. The iconic family of steak restaurants now totals ten. The Central Park South location opened earlier this year in March. Bobby Van’s Steakhouse offers a fine dining experience for dinner. In addition, enjoy a weekday Breakfast and Brunch on both Saturday and Sunday.
Chef Robert Dickert is the great-nephew of steakhouse legend Peter Luger. In 1996 when this restaurateur joined the Bobby Van’s team, Dickert brought a wealth of family knowledge and cooking tradition. These traditions include and of course, high quality food. The combination is impressive and has become the hallmark of Bobby Van’s dining experience. Robert Dickert can still be found at Bobby Van’s. He assists and oversees the selection and dry aging process sued in their quality prime beef.
Executive Chef Ted Rozzi has created a selection of delicious dishes. The restaurant’s menu includes Crispy Calamari, Lemon Pepper Shrimp and Maxie’s Meatballs for Starter and Veal Milanese, Chilean Seabass and N.Y. Sirloin Steak for Entrée. In addition, be sure to try a variety of dining options outside of prime beef and seafood. Choose from wood-fired pizzas, supremely-prepared pastas plus freshly tossed salads. Pick from delicious sides to accompany your dinner. For example, Thick Cut Applewood Bacon, Cauliflower Carbonara and Sautéed Mushrooms.
There’s no denying that Bobby Van’s Steakhouse is respected as a premier, authentic steakhouse. The newest restaurant offers incredible views of Central Park. The interior of this steakhouse restaurant is elegant but offers a warm ambiance. You’ll find white table cloths and gorgeous wood accents. A perfect place to enjoy a fine meal for a romantic couple, or larger groups and special occasions. We like the Central Park location a lot. Not only for the New York City views, but central location and convenience.
Everybody loves Breakfast. You will love the morning meals here. Both Breakfast and Brunch dishes include the perfectly prepared Buttermilk Pancakes with fresh berries and maple syrup, Homemade Granola with yogurt and berries, Bobby Van’s Bananas Foster (battered brioche, sliced bananas, toasted pecans, vanilla ice cream and Fosters sauce).
Continuing, there are Hearty egg dishes include Bobby Van’s Steak and Eggs (sirloin steak, two eggs and home fries), Jumbo Lump Crabmeat and Spinach Benedict with home fries, and the Egg Whites Farmers Scramble (spinach, tomato, mushroom, sweet potato and Swiss cheese). Diners can also opt to add a number of freshly bakery items such as croissants, bagels and English muffins, as well as fresh seasonal fruits and berries.
