Launching this March 1st, Official Central Park Tours offers the only Central Park tours that were designed and led by Central Park Conservancy. This organization over 30 years of experience both restoring and maintaining the iconic New York city park.

Central Park offers something for everybody including sports, guided tours, sightseeing or simply relaxing amongst the park’s endless beauty.

Today, Central Park encompasses 843 acres of beautiful lawns, ponds and woodlands. It’s a memorable locale anytime of the year. The new park tours provide information on the historic, design, and horticultural details of New York City’s Central Park.

There are several dozen Central Park tours available. A few sample tours include:
• Welcome Tours: Beginning your tour from the perimeter of Central Park, Welcome Tours will focus on the general history and design of Central Park. Tour guests will be led through the Park’s gorgeous landscapes to a Conservancy visitor center. Lasting about 45 minutes in length, this tour is free and is a terrific intro to Central Park for a first-time visitor.

• Premier Tours: 90 minutes long, these enhanced tours provide visitors a closer look at the Park from a unique insider perspectives. Covered topics include the park’s history, ecology and design. Ticket pricing starts at $15 per person.

• Custom Tours: Need an individualized tour with no comparison? Custom tours are ideal for a small group of people who desire taking a tour designed by Central Park Conservancy experts and focus on their specific, Central Park interests. Pricing for the custom tours begin at $150. Also available are van tours for up to six people.
