Who says you can’t celebrate Christmas in Southern California. Known for year-round sunshine and warm weather, Beverly Hills wants to celebrate the holidays with the city’s first ever full-scale, public ice rink.

Beverly Hills is a premier vacation and business travel destination, boasting beautiful weather year-round, acclaimed full-service and boutique hotel accommodations, sumptuous dining, and incomparable shopping.

The ice skating rink is located in the Golden Triangle, in front of the iconic Beverly Hills City Hall building. It will open on December 1, 2012 and close on January 6, 2013, providing entertainment throughout the season for both visitors and SoCal locals.

The ice skating rink will be open seven days a week. Hours are 12pm – 9pm Sunday through Thursday and between 12pm – 10pm Friday and Saturday.

Admission and skate rental is just $15 per adult and $11 per children under the age of 12, for an hour session.

In addition, Beverly Hills has planned a variety of festive, holiday activities and one-of-a-kind décor, plus holiday promotions throughout the season including special holiday dining menus, extended store hours and holiday events.

Executive Director of Beverly Hills Conference & Visitors Bureau Julie Wagner was quoted, “The holidays are one of the most exciting times of the year in Beverly Hills. This year with the debut of the ice rink, locals and visitors will be infused with holiday spirit and transported to a winter wonderland right in the middle of Los Angeles. After an hour long session, skaters can stroll into the Golden Triangle for some hot chocolate, holiday bites or to finish their shopping for the season.”
