LINK Smartphone by TAG Heuer – Android (2.2) Operating System

Tag Heuer LINK Smartphone

The hi-tech market has been flooded with numerous smartphones to try appease the strong demand of consumers who want the latest and hottest phones.

The LINK by TAG Heuer is deemed the first Swiss luxury touch-screen smartphone that runs on the Android operating system.

Many of the recent luxury smartphones have focused more on the look of luxury, decorated with diamonds and gold. We feel that the new TAG Heuer LINK smartphone offers an ideal blend of both luxury and technology.

Yes but they have focused more on the luxury and less on the “smart” in smartphone. The TAG Heuer LINK features a good set of internals to match a pretty exterior.

Swiss watchmaker TAG Heuer has engineered and integrated components from its luxury line of watches into the LINK. For example, the LINK is both shockproof and reinforced with screws on the smartphone’s handset.

Of course a luxury smartphone needs to offer the “bling” and the LINK doesn’t disappoint here. Tag Heuer designed the LINK with rose gold, diamonds and premium-grade stainless steel. The smartphones case is covered in calf skin, lizard or even alligator.

Powered by a 1GHz processor, the LINK features a nice 3.5-inch screen offering a higher resolution, 800×480 display. If you want to take high-quality pictures, the LINK includes a five-megapixel camera.

In addition to running the Android (2.2) operating system, the new LINK smartphone by Tag Heuer also features GSM 3G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, WAPI and aGPS.
