The collaboration brings one of the top musical performers in the world with a leading, Swiss luxury jewelry brand. The upcoming product launch is scheduled for next month in May, 2017. There is not one, but actually 2 new joaillerie lines that are being designed.

The timing of the luxury Rihanna Chopard Collections jewelry line is significant. First it coincides with the 70th anniversary of the most spectacular red carpet in the world – the Festival de Cannes. In addition, the product launch will celebrate 20th year that Chopard has been the official partner of the Cannes Film Festival.

When asked about involvement in the new Rihanna Chopard Collections, Rihanna responded, “I have always been in love with Chopard’s exquisite jewelry, so to actually design collections with them is something I still can’t believe. It was a really incredible process and I learned so much! I can’t wait for everyone to see it.”

Rihanna is known for her top music hits, but also for her cutting edge fashion statements. The two collections are named the Haute Joaillerie and Joaillerie collections. They will represent a blending of classic glamour and urban chic. It will be a 9-piece capsule collection. Choose from icy polished or diamond set gold cubes.

The collaboration between Rihanna and Chopard Co-President and Creative Director, Caroline Scheufele was very strong. Caroline was quoted, “Rihanna and I collaborated closely on the collections so you can feel her unstoppable energy, strong creativity, and inherent sense of design in every piece. With her unique style, she redefines the way people see and wear jewelry.” The result is a simply, stunning jewelry collection.

The partnership between Chopard and Rihanna is not new. In fact, it’s been a strong bond over the last several years. She has been wearing luxurious jewelry from Chopard on the the world’s top red carpet events. You likely noticed a pre-launch piece while watching this year’s Grammy Awards. Rihanna proudly wore a one-of-a-kind pair of floral inspired multi-colored chandelier earrings, in addition to a stunning marquise-cut diamond solitaire ring.

Emma Stone, born Emily Jean Stone on November 6, 1988, was a member of the Valley Youth Theater, making her first stage debut as a child actor in “The Wind in the Willows”.

At the age of 15, she decided to make acting her career, but first she had to convince her parents. As the story goes, she made a PowerPoint presentation entitled “Project Hollywood” set to a Madonna song in an attempt to persuade her parents to allow her to drop out of school and move to Los Angeles. Her parents agreed, and in January 2004, she and her mother moved to a Los Angeles apartment where she was home schooled so that she could spend her days auditioning.

She landed a number of small TV roles with her big TV breakthrough being when she won a part on the talent/reality show “In Search of the Partridge Family.”

Her movie debut in “Superbad” in 2007, followed by a number of successful performances, landed her a leading role in “Easy A” in 2010 establishing her as a star.

After registering for the Screen Actors Guild, Stone chose the name “Emma” a nickname her mother had given her, because there was already a listing for an “Emily Stone”. She first chose Riley Stone as her professional name, but decided she was more comfortable with Emma after doing a guest appearance on “Malcolm in the Middle.” Her family and friends call her Emily.

Whitney Houston was once on top of the world, as one of the most successful and talented performers ever.

Sadly, it’s been reported by the Associated Press that Whitney Houston has died, leaving behind a legacy marred by personal issues that often overshadowed her musical brilliance. Whitney Houston was just 48 years old.

Lt. Mark Rosen of the Beverly Hills police department explained to local L.A. TV station KABC-TV that Whitney Houston died in her room on the fourth floor of the famous Beverly Hilton Hotel.

As of this time, there is no known cause of death. While the investigation is underway by Beverly Hills detectives, Whitney Houston’s body is still inside the hotel room.

Tomorrow night is the Grammy Awards and it was reported that Whitney Houston planned to attend and even showed up at the Grammy rehearsals today, coaching singers Brandy and Monica.

The life and career of Whitney Houston had many extreme ups and downs. Whitney had a severe drug use problem that caused strange, erratic behavior. Her volatile marriage to singer Bobby Brown often made the headlines, but for all the wrong reasons.

In addition to being a superstar singer, Whitney Houston was also an accomplished actor. Houston appeared and starred in several box office hit movies, such as The Bodyguard and Waiting to Exhale.

As Whitney Houston’s drug abuse increased, her album sales free-falled. Her public appearances were quite strange as the toll of her drug abuse became more evident. She has confessed to using cocaine, marijuana and various pills.

In the music industry, Whitney Houston was at her best. Whitney was one of the top-selling artists in pop music history and sold more than 55 million records just in the United States alone!

In 2009, it appeared Whitney Houston was on the comeback trail. She launched a new album titled “I Look To You.” That album debuted on the top of the charts, eventually going platinum.
