Although it’s been hinted and talked about for a while, Bentley has officially entered the luxury SUV market with the new 2016 Bentayga SUV.

Bentley has been targeting the luxury SUV market and looks to redefine the auto segment. The new 2016 Bentayga SUV from Bentley will feature a twin-turbocharged 12-cylinder engine, offering 600 horsepower and 660 foot-pounds of torque.

The British luxury car manufacturer unveiled the 2016 Bentayga SUV at the recent 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show in Germany. Bentley is promoting the new luxury SUV as the most powerful, most luxurious, most exclusive and fastest SUV in the world. Now that’s going to turn some heads!

The 2016 Bentayga is based on the Audi Q7 platform and will reach impressive top speeds – going from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in about 4.1 seconds. The luxury SUV’s top speed is expected to hit 301 km/h (187 mph). Experience a VIP experience driving this blazing fast luxury SUV.

The expected price tag for the 2016 Bentayga sport utility vehicle is $229,000 and is schedule to be available in the U.S. in early 2016. Bentley now joins both the Lamborghini Urus and Rolls-Royce Cullinan with plans to soon introduce ultra-luxury SUVs.

Michael Winkler is the Bentley Motors Americas CEO and stated that the Bentayga is about “bespoke luxury.” With the incredible speeds that the Bentayga can deliver, Winkler added, “If a car is capable of that you have to remember that it has so much more reserves at 25 mph or 60 mph.”

Although all the buzz in Frankfurt, Germany was about the new 2016 Bentayga, Bentley also displayed the Continental GT, the GT3 racer, the Mulsanne Speed> In addition the Bentley collection, consists of 100 accessories with the iconic Bentley brand.

The luxurious Bentley Continental GT3 will make its race debut in Abu Dhabi this December 13.

Bentley has a long standing heritage in the motorsports arena and now 10 years after their victory at Le Mans, Bentley will return to the racetrack with the Continental GT3 at the 2013 Gulf 12 Hours.

The 2013 Gulf 12 Hours is a two-part endurance race test that takes place at the stunning Yas Marina circuit. The upcoming event marks Bentley’s return to motorsport ten years after its dominant win at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2003.

The race event will allow the new Bentley Continental GT3 to publicly display the luxury sedan’s performance capabilities in its most extreme form.

Bentley’s new race car has begun an intensive program of performance, setup and durability testing at tracks across Europe, ever since the Continental GT3’s exciting debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed back in July.

To complement its racing ambitions, the Bentley Continental GT3 retains it luxury Grand Tourer roots, with a fashionable steering wheel, gorgeous carbon racing seat and leather door-pulls that are all trimmed and stitched by hand by the craftsmen and women at the Bentley factory in Crewe.

It was an exciting week in the world of automobiles as luxury car maker Bentley announced that that they will proceed with a luxury Bentley SUV. It would become the world’s most expensive SUV but you’ll have to wait a few years before you can buy it.

The new luxury SUV from Bentley will become the fourth model in their product line. Bentley also stated that the SUV will become the most luxurious and powerful SUV on the auto market when it goes on sale in 2016.

Since 1998, Bentley Motors Limited has been owned by Volkswagen Group. The new SUV will be part of major program and over the next three years, Bentley will invest greater than than £800 million ($1.23 billion) in its headquarters at Crewe, England and the development of its next generation of new luxury models. The investment by Bentley will produce about 1,000 jobs in the UK.

Dr Winterkorn who is the Chairman of the Board of Volkswagen Group was quoted, “The Volkswagen Group believes in the UK as a competitive location for industrial production. Bentley fans all around the world are looking forward to the brand’s first SUV. Together we will make this new Bentley another true Bentley – powerful, exclusive and successful.”

The original EXP 9 F concept was unveiled at the 2012 Geneva auto show (see the above photo). There are industry talks that the new Bentley SUV will look differently.

In the last 16 months since the  Geneva car show last year, the initial response from its customer base to the new Bentley SUV has been extremely positive.

Bentley has just announced a limited edition for the Mulsanne and Continental models to help celebrate the 90th anniversary of the historic Le Mans 24 Hours endurance race, plus the 10th anniversary of Bentley’s victory there back in 2003.

The Le Mans edition Mulsanne and Continental models number six in total, which represents each of the six Bentley Boys who were victorious in past Le Mans 24 Hours races.

Through the true engineering competence and the skills of a group of drivers known as the ‘Bentley Boys,’ Bentley has been incredibly successful in both setting new speed records and racing.

Bentley began as a car maker in 1919 and founder W.O. Bentley had a goal of supporting motor racing.

They won its first Le Mans 24 Hours endurance race in 1924, followed by four consecutive wins between 1927 and 1930. The the long dry spell hit and the next victory wasn’t until 2003, when Bentley won again by placing first and second place. Guy Smith was the winning while driving one of the two Speed 8’s race cars.

To celebrate, Bentley is producing 48 examples of each ‘Le Mans Limited Edition’ model. Each specialty car will have its own Le Mans Edition numbered badge, Le Mans Edition clock face, embroidered Le Mans badge to each headrest, tread plates with the limited edition name, unique Le Mans Edition wheels and specific interior veneers and exterior colors.

The schedule is for Continental GT models are available now and the Mulsanne Le Mans Edition models available beginning in the third quarter.

The new Bentley 2014 Flying Spur luxury sedan is scheduled to make its debut at the upcoming 2013 Geneva Auto Show on March 5th and once again in New York City in April.

There’s an optional eight-channel, eight-speaker audio system with Balanced Mode Radiators that will provide high quality sound clarity, with the 1100W Naim® for Bentley premium system.

The Flying Spur utilizes Bentley’s renowned 6.0-litre, twin turbo W12 engine, along with a ZF eight-speed transmission. Offering greater power than any other Bentley four-door in history, the new Flying Spur delivers a staggering 0-60 mph time of only 4.3 seconds, plus a top-speed of 200 mph (322 km/h).

Providing all road and weather condition driving, the new Bentley features all-wheel drive with a 40:60 rear-biased torque split and a 14 per cent improvement in the power-to-weight ratio.

The Flying Spur will deliver 625 PS (616 bhp) at 6,000 rev/min and a staggering 800 Nm (580 lb ft) of torque from only 2000 rev/min.

You can purchase the Bentley Flying Spur in either four- or five-seat configurations. The luxury sedan features redesigned front and rear seats that are beautifully trimmed in natural premium-quality leather. The new custom seats are made with a softer, but more durable hide that’s unique to Bentley and available in twelve different colors.

The sleek exterior is “pure Bentley” with a lower and wider appearance with sharp lines and gently curvaceous surfaces. The new model has a lower roof line, deeply sculpted panels, precise feature lines and a muscular rear haunch give the Flying Spur a more aggressive stance and a powerfully dynamic profile.

Bentley – 2014 Flying Spur

The front of this luxury sedan comes with a more upright chrome grille situated between the jewel-like LED pair of headlamps. The outside lamps are the larger of the two. Beneath the front grille, the lower intake is now full width with no vertical divisions, but instead with a chromed horizontal accent that completes the dramatic face of the new Flying Spur.

A new 19-inch Classic wheel is fitted exclusively to the new Flying Spur, either bright-painted or with a diamond turned finish. The new design consolidates a wider range of 20-inch five-spoke, 21-inch six-spoke and 21-inch ten-spoke wheels available as cost options.

The interior is just as stunning. The ultimate high-luxury Flying Spur sedan utilizes almost ten square metres of sustainably sourced natural wood per car, and features book-matched and mirror-polished veneer to the fascia panels, consoles, waistrails and picnic tables. The car’s roof lining and pillars are also trimmed in natural leather.

Bentley customers can specify an optional glass sunroof at no additional cost. Behind the central rear armrest, a nine-litre bottle cooler can be specified to keep drinks perfectly chilled. The interior designers also focused on improving interior stowage around the cabin, whilst including new electronic technologies discretely throughout the interior.

Luxury car brand Bentley has done it again.  After providing released images and video of its new EXP 9 F luxury performance SUV, we’re getting closer to seeing the real deal next month.

The new Bentley EXP 9 F luxury performance SUV will be showcased at the Concours d’Elegance in Pebble Beach, California. We reported about the Bentley SUV’s first appearance in Geneva.

The first view recently occurred at the 2012 Goodwood Festival of Speed.  Bentley displayed the concept EXP 9 F at Goodwood and it appears the public embraced the idea of Bentley offering a luxury SUV.

Offering all-wheel drive and a 6.0 liter, turbo-charged W12 engine, the new Bentley SUV also features its famous matrix grille, 23-inch alloy wheels, ultra-wide, two-part split tailgate and twin exhaust tailpipes in the rear, plus round lamps in the front.

Bentley EXP 9 F

At the recent Geneva International Salon d’Auto car show, luxury car maker Bentley revealed it’s new Sport Utility Vehicle Concept Car (EXP 9 F).

Bentley’s EXP 9 F is a true fusion of contemporary crafted luxury, advanced in-car technology, commanding driving position and all-terrain capability in a spacious and high performance SUV.

The EXP 9 F from Bentley would be the third Bentley model-line to go along with the bespoke Mulsanne and the high performance Continental GT, GTC and Flying Spur.

Wolfgang Dürheimer, Chairman and Chief Executive of Bentley Motors was quoted, “We are very excited by the potential of a high performance, ultra-luxury Bentley SUV. We know that many Bentley customers already own SUVs, admiring their style, luxury, performance and versatility. 2013 Bentley Continental GT V8

Last year, Bentley Motors celebrated the arrival of its new 4.0 litre V8 Continental GT coupe in Germany with a sensational flying debut above downtown Munich.

The new Bentley Continental GT V8 officially made its debut at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit on January 9, 2012.

The new 4.0 liter, twin turbocharged V8 engine will be offered for both the Bentley Continental GT models and will go on sale in the summer of 2012.

The new Bentley V8 engine will deliver 500 HP at 6000 rpm and 487 lb-ft of torque available between 1700 to 5000 rpm.
