$200 Million Bugatti Art-Car Set To Smash Mercedes $142M World Record

Artist Jack Armstrong will unveil the World’s Most Expensive Car in Monte Carlo – his $200 Million Bugatti ‘X’ hypercar.

Scheduled for January 2025, it will celebrate Armstrong’s 50th Anniversary as an artist. As the founder of Cosmic ‘X’ Art, he worked with both Jean-Michel Basquiat and Andy Warhol at the start of his iconic career.

His painting ‘Warhol Naked‘ at $300 Million, along with his Cosmic ‘Starship’ Harley-Davidson motorcycle rate alongside the rarest modern objects in the world.

The current world record, a 1957 Mercedes-Benz 300 SLR Uhlenhaut Coupe was one of only two ever made.  It was sold from the Mercedes-Benz corporate museum in Stuttgart, Germany in May 2022 to a private collector for 141 million EUR (138 million GBP or 142 million USD). The record sale proceeds were used to establish the Mercedes-Benz Fund.

Armstrong will include African artist Denis Mutabazi of Tanzania on the new Bugatti Art-Car. Armstrong has previously worked with Mexican Artist Jaime Carbo. He says: “Mutabazi is Africa’s most unique artist and he developed a one million bead art process that no one else can replicate.”

Ultimate Cosmic X Synergy: Jaime Carbo and Jack Armstrong Collaboration 

Armstrong states that Carbo in Mexico and Mutabazi in Tanzania, “are completely unique in the same iconic vein as Warhol and Basquiat in creating new concepts. I am most fortunate to collaborate with both. These two artists will become legends in the future and it’s an honor to work alongside them.”

As for creating the most expensive art objects in the world, Armstrong says, “Warhol would be amazed at his $195 Million ‘Marilyn’ record, plus Basquiat at $110 Million for his Blue Skull painting and with Da Vinci in top place at $450 Million.”

Armstrong states, “I will retire in 2025. My legacy is my art and the wonderful artists I worked with in my career. His custom painted Harley Davidson motorcycle (photo below) is titled the “Cosmic Harley.” Also included are two seminal paintings. Any of the works of art can be purchased individually:  “Warhol Naked” – $110 million, “The Last Wizard” – $110 million and the “Cosmic Starship” motorcycle – $50 million.

We can just wonder what the final Armstrong-Bugatti will look like. The photo (top) is a Bugatti Vision Grand Turismo. As beautiful as the paint job of this luxury supercar is, we can only imagine how stunning the upcoming Armstrong-Bugatti will be.

Jack knew and worked with both Andy Warhol and Jean Michel-Basquiat. That experience allowed Jack to create the most expensive objects of their kind, on earth. Andy Warhol too saw Jack’s talent first hand. Therefore, Andy Warhol acknowledged his talent by giving him the unique and complimentary nickname – “The Last Wizard.”

Mansory Vivere Bugatti Veyron at Geneva 2014 Auto Show

Mansory is highly respected for converting some of the greatest supercars with extreme car styling and design creativity. At the recent Geneva 2014 Auto Show, Mansory presented their 7th Bugatti Veyron that they have rebodied.

They have named their new luxury car the Mansory Vivere. The Mansory Vivere comes complete with carbon parts over the entire car. It also has taken key features from both the Bugatti Vitesse and Super Sport models




Bugatti Galibier 16C – Veyron’s Luxury Sedan Successor

Luxury automobile manufacturer Bugatti, just unveiled a brand new concept sedan – Bugatti Galibier 16C.

What is significant here, is it gives us a heads up to what Bugatti may head after it ends its production of the luxury Veyron model.

The word is that luxury automaker Bugatti plans to introduce the new Galibier 16C concept sedan by 2013.

The plan is for the Bugatti Galibier 16C to have the same 16-cylinder engine as the Veyron.  The difference is that a pair of superchargers will replace the current four turbochargers  in the Veyron.  The Galibier 16C will also offer owners all-wheel drive in addition to am automatic transmission.

Ultimately, the goal is for Bugatti to produce the Galibier 16C and target it as the world’s fastest sedan.
