Just when you think the luxury cruise industry can’t introduce another floating city, think again. It’s the latest luxury cruise ship – Allure Of The Seas by Royal Caribbean International.

The new Allure Of The Seas will hold 5,400 passengers and will be another new cruise option for 2010. The massive Oasis of the Seas arrives on the heels of its sister ship, Royal Caribbean’s Oasis of the Seas.

Allure Of The Seas weighs in at a whopping 220,000 tons and offers 16 decks, along with seven unique neighborhoods, including: Central Park, Boardwalk, the Pool and Sports Zone, the Royal Promenade, Vitality at Sea Spa and Fitness Center, Entertainment Place and Youth Zone.

The new luxury cruise ship Allure Of The Seas has many luxurious amenities to make your cruise that much more enjoyable. The ship will feature a park that contains more than 12,000 plants and trees.

You can also enjoy a hand-carved carousel, an 82-foot zip line, plus a full production of Broadway’s hit show “Hairspray”.

There’s also a cocktail lounge named “Rising Tide.” What makes this lounge so unique is that it actually moves vertically between decks.

Additional entertainment options for Allure Of The Seas guests include an acrobatic high-dive performance, watch ice-skaters act out popular fairy tales, or even record a music video.

The luxury cruise ship will provide passengers 24 different dining venues to meet everybody’s taste. Dining options range from a cupcake shop and ice cream parlor to a Tuscan trattoria and upscale grill.

For those passengers who want to pretend they never left home, will be treated to a two-story loft suite with floor-to-ceiling windows. It will seem like staying in an apartment on the ocean!

Allure Of The Seas provides a luxury experience with 28 ultra-modern loft suites, plus 2,700 spacious staterooms.

The inaugural launch of Allure of the Seas begins this December with a weeklong cruise departing from Fort Lauderdale, Florida and cruising in style to the Bahamas, St. Thomas and St. Maarten.

The Allure of the Seas cruise ship will be homeported in Fort Lauderdale. The ships will alternate the above itinerary with another, visiting Jamaica, the Mexican island of Cozumel and Labadee, which is Royal Caribbean’s private beach retreat!

Arrival of the World’s Largest Cruise Ship – Oasis of the Seas

The wait is finally over. Royal Caribbean’s Oasis of the Seas, the world’s largest cruise ship, is now safely anchored in its home port of Port Everglades, Florida.

The Oasis of the Seas will hold up to 6,300 passengers and a crew of 2,100. The ship was built in Finland and made the long voyage across the Atlantic Ocean, finally docking in Port Everglades – Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.

The luxury Oasis of the Seas is the largest cruise ship ever built and cost almost $1.4 billion. The impressive ship measures 1,187 feet long and weighs an amazing 225,282 tons. That’s nearly five times heavier than the famous Titanic.

Owned by Royal Caribbean International, the Oasis of the Seas offers guests 16 sprawling decks. The ship includes seven different “neighborhoods” and has a massive (62 feet wide by 328 feet long) open-air Central Park with more than 12,000 plants and trees.

In addition, Oasis includes an open-air Boardwalk area, offering the first carousel at sea. For people who want an open seas thrill, try the zip line and enjoy a ride 82 feet long amid nine decks above the awesome Boardwalk.

The world awaits the launch Royal Caribbean International’s Oasis of the Seas. When she launches in late 2009, Oasis of the Seas will be the largest and most revolutionary cruise ship in the world.

With apartment balconies overlooking a park, a town square, boutique shops and a choice of restaurants and bars, holidaymakers might think they traveled through time and landed in New York.

The Oasis of the Seas is the world’s largest mega ship and 50 percent bigger than its nearest cruise ship rival – the luxury ocean liner Queen Mary 2 by Cunard.

Oasis of the Seas will be the first ship to tout the cruise line’s new neighborhood concept of seven distinct themed areas, which includes Central Park, Boardwalk, the Royal Promenade, the Pool and Sports Zone and Vitality at Sea Spa and Fitness Center.

The Oasis of the Seas offers six levels of staterooms, a turf-covered chip and putt golf course, the world’s first open-air amphitheatre at the stern, two surfing simulators, a flying fox-style zip-line and a boardwalk surrounded by casual restaurants, it is more like a giant ritzy resort than a cruise ship.
