Fashion label Jimmy Choo has introduced Jimmy Choo Man – which is the luxury brand’s first scent for men.

Scheduled to launch on August 11 in the U.K., Jimmy Choo Man eaude toilette will be available followed by a worldwide roll-out. This will be Jimmy Choo’s first masculine fragrance after its success in shoes, bags, accessories and women’s fragrances.

Pierre Denis who is the CEO of Jimmy Choo was quoted at the London Collections: Men product launch, “This is a fragrance for the man who goes out with the Jimmy Choo woman.”

The new mens fragrance consists of an enticing blend of fresh honeydew melon and lavender, then mixed with pineapple leaf and pink pepper. To top it off, the new Jimmy Choo scent includes the perfect amount of suede and patchouli leaves.

Several months ago in March, actor Kit Harington from the hit HBO TV show “Game of Thrones” was announced as the spokesman for the new Jimmy Choo’s men’s collection. The Jimmy Choo Man ad campaign was shot by famous Peter Lindbergh and filmed at a posh Hollywood Hills mansion.

Luxury watch brand Hublot recently unveiled a special edition watch titled – Big Bang Ferrari Russia.

Swiss watch manufacturer is celebrating a successful 10 year period of selling its line of luxury watches into Russia.

According to Hublot, the new Big Bang Ferrari Russia watch features a stunning black ceramic case that measures 1.79 inches or 45.5 mm in diameter. It includes a cylindrical carbon fibre bezel. The striking red moulding highlights the watch’s flyback chronograph movement by making it visible via the sapphire dial.

The unveiling of the new luxury watch from Hublot was held at the company’s 10th year anniversary party in Barvikha Luxury Village in Moscow, Russia.

There will be only 25 Big Bang Ferrari Russia timepieces manufactured. Each one is made with two straps that are interchangeable. The luxury watch has a water-resistant rating down to 100 meters, in addition to offering the owner a 72-hour power reserve.

The iconic Ferrari horse log is featured at the 9 o’clock position of the watch dial and is gold in color. The watch dial also features a column wheel plus dual horizontal coupling. The Hublot watch has a frequency of 28,000 vibrations per hour.

The watch company purchased two incredible watch lots. The first was a beautiful Breguet no°4039 watch. This exceptional, half quarter repeating watch features an eccentric hour dial and an indication of the date. This luxury was first Sold back on September 30, 1825 to the Duke of Berwick.

The Breguet no°4039, 18K gold and silver pocket watch is the perfect example of the brand’s extra slim repeating timepieces made “sur les principles des chronomètres” which translates into “on the principles of chronometers.”

The second watch is an extremely, rare Breguet Tourbillon no°1176. This gorgeous timepiece was once owned by Count Potocki. This luxury watch is the first four-minute tourbillon and third tourbillon watch ever made by Abraham-Louis Breguet. Tourbillon no°1176 pocket chronometer watch features a fan-shaped power reserve sector that is calibrated for 35 hours. The watch also includes a small hour dial, in addition to small rings for the two subsidiary seconds.

The total price paid for the two Breguet watches at Christie’s Auction was 750’000 Swiss francs. The no°4039 went for the price of 70’000 Swiss francs. The prestigious Tourbillon no°1176 luxury watch is stunning and was purchased for more than 680’000 Swiss francs.

The fabulous technique of blending of both gold and azure is called paillonné enameling. The complicated process of paillonné enameling is quite delicate and requires a high level of craftsmanship and attention to detail.

The artisans at luxury watch brand Jaquet Droz have become experts in this creative field, dating back to the 18th century. Jaquet Droz just unveiled three new limited-edition watch models that feature intricate paillonné enameling on the luxury watch dials.

The process of paillonné enameling entails several firings at temperatures that can actually near a whopping 1000 °C. The Grand Feu enamel process used by Jaquet Droz produces beautiful watch pieces and are works of art in their own right.

To ensure that the color is consistent, a trained eye is needed to carefully observe the time consuming process. The motif of the watch is then created utilizing gold paillons that have to be carefully placed in just the right position. The end result is spectacular!

The three new luxury watch models from Jaquet Droz include a 39 mm Petite Heure Minute, a 50 mm pocket watch, plus a 43 mm Grande Seconde. Each watch is unique and the motif design is stunning.
