Chopard Mille Miglia Watch Celebrates the Porsche Club of America
Luxury watch brand Chopard is honoring the Porsche Club of America for 60 years of successful existence by creating a 60 plus 6 watch piece limited edition collection. The new luxury watch celebrates the largest single-marque (brand) car club in the world.
The Mille Miglia translates to thousand miles in Italian and was an Italian open-road endurance race that first occurred between 1927 and 1957. Starting in 1977, Mille Miglia has turned into a race for vintage and classic cars that were made prior to 1958.
Chopard has been a proud sponsor of Mille Miglia for 25 years. Next year will mark the 60 years of existence for Porsche Club of America.
Beginning in early December, the new Chopard Mille Miglia luxury watch will be available for purchase at www.pcatime.com.
There are two different Chopard Mille Miglia watch styles to choose from – stainless steel and 18-karat rose gold.
The watch case has a 42.00 mm diameter and a height of 12.31 mm. The case is also water resistance down to 50 meters. The case of the Chopard Mille Miglia features a sapphire crystal case back that is printed with a special Porsche Club of America full-color logo.
The watch offers automatic Swiss chronograph movement with hour and minute chronograph counters at 6, 9 o’clock, running seconds at 3 o’clock and a date window between 4 and 5 o’clock position.
The vivid blue dial is stunning and comes with white numerals, scales and markers. The white baton hour and minute hands are inlaid with Super-LumiNova. The watch also comes with a red and White central sweep-seconds chronograph hand.
This luxury timepiece is sure to become a true collector’s item. As previously mentioned, it’s a limited edition collection. Just 66 pieces in total, there will be 60 of the 42 mm stainless steel case and 6 of the 18-karat rose gold watches available for purchase.
The Chopard Mille Miglia will be priced at $5,990 for the stainless steel watch model and $21,000 for the 18-karat gold watch.
