2012 Range Rover Evoque – 5 Door SUV

During the recent 2011 New York International Auto Show, the all-new Range Rover Evoque, which is the smallest, lightest, most fuel efficient Range Rover ever produced, was showcased.

The new 2012 Range Rover Evoque proves Range Rover is serious about sustainability, and determined to deliver vehicles that are both relevant and highly desirable.

Gerry McGovern, Land Rover Design Director was quoted, “The unique style of the Range Rover Evoque will attract a new generation of Range Rover customers who have never considered an SUV before, such as premium coupe buyers who would like to make a bold new statement.”

The 2012 Range Rover Evoque is definitely smaller, lighter and a more efficient Range Rover. The company feels the new SUV addresses the growing consumer need for more environmentally friendly vehicles.

The Range Rover Evoque will be available in two different versions: a coupe and a five-door. Although the two versions of the Evoque are identical in overall length and width – the five-door model has a 1.18 inch higher roofline.

Each Range Rover Evoque destined for the United States will come equipped with all-wheel-drive and will feature a 240-horsepower, turbocharged, direct fuel injected, four-cylinder engine coupled to a six-speed automatic transmission.

Estimated pricing for the new 2012 Range Rover Evoque will be approximately $45,000.
