Jessica Simpson

Jessica Simpson burst onto the entertainment scene at age 12, when she auditioned for, and was passed on by, The Mickey Mouse Club. The roles were later given to Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera. After this setback, Jessica attended Christian youth camp and was picked up by a small record label.

“I say I’m an entertainer. I obviously entertain people with my personal life, which is not so much fun. But I’m passionate about music, I love to sing, I love to write, take pictures, keep a journal, be an actress, make movies. I just love entertaining people, being that escapism for people.”

Although she plays the “dumb blond” on camera, Jessica claims to have a high IQ. Jessica claims to be a big Shakespeare fan. When she went to London, the first place she went was the famous Globe Theatre.

“I don’t feel the need to impress anymore. I’ve worked for a long time to get where I am, and now I can be comfortable in my own skin. I feel more in control of my life. Outward appearance is just secondary to the confidence that I feel inside.”

“I’m not anorexic. I’m from Texas. Are there people who are anorexic in Texas? I’ve never heard of one, including me.”
