Swiss watch maker Frederique Constant has announced their latest watch model, which becomes part of their respected Classics collection. The Classics Art of Porcelain watch is a beautiful and luxurious timepiece.

Miklós Zsolnay was the founder of the iconic Zsolnay factory in Pecs, Hungary. He lived from 1800 to 1880. The factory started producing ceramics in 1853. Ten years later, Miklós’ son Vilmos Zsolnay became part of the company. His role was both director and manager. Vilmos worked hard to promote the company and demonstrated its high-end products at international exhibitions and world fairs. One of the acclaimed events was a showing at the 1873 World Fair in Vienna, Switzerland.

During the 1878 World Fair in Paris, France, Zsolnay was awarded a Grand Prix. They showcased how porcelain is made. Porcelain is a result of heating ceramic material between 1,200 and 1,400 °C or 2,200 and 2,600 °F in a kiln.

The Classics Art of Porcelain watch case is made from 3-parts stainless steel. The steel is highly polished for an attractive look. The watch case measures 40mm and makes a strong, fashion statement. The watch’s mechanics utilize the FC-302 automatic calibre.

On the watch dial, you can see the phrase “Swiss Made” on the porcelain face at the 6 o’clock position. Swiss watches have garnered the ultimate respect in the watch industry.
