The wait is finally over. Royal Caribbean’s Oasis of the Seas, the world’s largest cruise ship, is now safely anchored in its home port of Port Everglades, Florida.

The Oasis of the Seas will hold up to 6,300 passengers and a crew of 2,100. The ship was built in Finland and made the long voyage across the Atlantic Ocean, finally docking in Port Everglades – Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.

The luxury Oasis of the Seas is the largest cruise ship ever built and cost almost $1.4 billion. The impressive ship measures 1,187 feet long and weighs an amazing 225,282 tons. That’s nearly five times heavier than the famous Titanic.
