New PanoMaticLunar and PanoReserve Watches From Glashütte

Glashütte Original PanoReserve watch

With Baselworld 2015 nearing, luxury watch brand Glashütte is releasing new versions of their PanoMaticLunar and PanoReserve watch.

The two, new timepieces are from the watch brand’s popular Pano Collection. They both come in red gold versions with a stylish matte black dial, plus a polished/satin brushed stainless steel edition that features a dark blue dial.

The beautiful watch dial is made in Glashütte Original’s Pforzheim factory. Each watch dial is carefully manufactured using up to 40 different operations. The result in the final product is magnificent, demonstrating both a refined and carefully finished watch dial.

One of the key changes to the new PanoMaticLunar and PanoReserve watches are the colors. There is mysterious black and intense blue. The colors deliver a radiant glow to the new Glashütte watches.

Glashütte Original has designed the two Pano watch models with an off-center placement of both the hour and minute hands, plus the small seconds display. The look is unique and delivers a lasting impression.

The carefully chosen location of the individual displays was derived by the “Golden Ratio”, which is the legendary law of aesthetic harmony. The Panorama Date and the gorgeous moon phase display are respectively located in the lower and upper right.

The PanoReserve watch model features a manual winding Calibre 65-01 with 42 hour power reserve and 48 stunning jewels. The watch’s sapphire crystal case back provides a clear view of the Glashütte Original duplex swan-neck fine adjustment, in addition to the Glashütte three-quarter plate with Glashütte stripe finish, the screw balance, the hand-engraved balance cock, screw-mounted gold chatons and blued screws.

The PanoMaticLunar models include the Saxon manufactory’s Calibre 90-02, which is a mechanical automatic movement with 47 jewels, plus a 42-hour power reserve. The watch’s sapphire crystal case back also delivers a clear view of the watch movement. Features include the three-quarter plate with Glashütte stripe finish, blued screws, off-center rotor with oscillating weight in 21-ct gold, plus the hand-engraved balance cock with duplex swan-neck fine adjustment.

Another impressive feature is the Panorama Date, moon phase display, and power reserve display present indications in the German language.

You will also find the “Made in Germany” mark that reminds watch connoisseurs that Glashütte has perfected the art of fine German watchmaking since 1845.
