Luxury jewelry brand Harry Winston recently introduced its Premier Moon Phase 36mm watch as preview of the upcoming Baselworld 2016 show in Switzerland.

This incredible timepiece blends the sophistication of the moon phase complication with the sheer beauty of precious Mother-of-Pearl. This stunning watch honors the various moon phases and the raw nature of the celestial sky.

The Premier Moon Phase 36mm watch from Harry Winston emulates the moon traveling across the horizon. It then vanishes behind the white color, mother of pearl design. This movement represents the conclusion to the end of the lunar cycle.

Powered by the HW5201 quartz movement are the lunar cycle, hours, minutes and date display. This movement is exclusive to Harry Winston. The HW5201 quartz movement has a diameter of 23.9 mm and a height of 3.3 mm.

The Premier Moon Phase 36mm watch face utilizes various materials, as well as artistic techniques to showcase an amazing, three-dimensional aesthetic. This is accomplished by using contrasting colors, perfectly placed design accents, and of course the elegant mother-of-pearl.

The incredible appearance of the watch dial was achieved by using two different shades of mother-of-pearl. A pure white pearl represent daylight and the pearl blue signifies the deep blue of the night sky.

The famous emerald-shaped, Harry Winston logo can be seen at the 12 o’clock position. There are 18 brilliant-cut diamonds found at the 6 o’clock position. 12 brilliant-cut diamonds go around the perimeter of the luxury watch and serves as vibrant hour markers.

The watch case is made from 18K rose gold and measures 36.0 mm in diameter and a height of 7.9 mm.

The watch dial includes brilliant-cut diamonds located at the index hour markers, weighing about 0.078 carats. In addition, the dial features gold cabochon minute markers.

The watch is also complimented by a a white alligator, leather clasp strap.
